This End User License Agreement governs your use of the task mobile application on iOS and Android. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.
1. Agreement
This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you and IZZY MARKETING, LLC ("Task," "we," "us," or "our") for use of the task mobile application and related services (the "App" or "Services"). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by this EULA. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. License grant
Subject to your compliance with this EULA, Task grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, solely for personal or internal business use in connection with posting, discovering, accepting, or completing tasks through the platform.
3. Restrictions
You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, sublicense, rent, lease, sell, or distribute the App except as expressly permitted by applicable law. You may not use the App for unlawful purposes, to interfere with platform operations, to scrape or harvest data, to impersonate others, or to circumvent security, verification, or payment controls.
4. Accounts & eligibility
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the App unless a parent or guardian has authorized use where permitted by law.
5. Brands, taskers & platform role
Task provides a marketplace-style platform that connects brands with independent taskers. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Task is not the employer of taskers and does not control how tasks are performed. Brands and taskers are responsible for their own compliance with applicable laws, tax obligations, and third-party platform rules when completing tasks.
6. Tasks, submissions & verification
Task briefs, instructions, payouts, deadlines, and proof requirements may be generated or assisted by automated tools. Completion of tasks may be verified automatically and/or by administrators before payment is released. You agree to follow task instructions in good faith and submit accurate proof of work.
7. Payments & payouts
Fees, payouts, escrow timing, and eligibility rules are displayed in the App and may vary by task, role, or region. Task may use third-party payment processors. You authorize Task and its partners to process payments, hold funds in escrow where applicable, and deduct applicable fees, chargebacks, or adjustments permitted by this EULA and any order flow shown in the App.
8. User content & data sharing
You retain ownership of content you submit, but grant Task a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, use, reproduce, and display that content as needed to operate the Services, verify task completion, and share proof or related data with brands or campaign owners where required for validation. Our use of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Confidentiality
You agree not to disclose non-public campaign details, brand instructions, internal pricing, or other confidential information obtained through the App to unauthorized third parties or public forums.
10. Updates & availability
Task may update the App, modify features, or suspend access for maintenance, security, legal compliance, or business reasons. Updates may be required for continued use. Task does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the App or any particular feature.
11. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. Task may suspend or terminate your access if you violate this EULA, create risk for other users, or as required by law. Upon termination, your license ends and you must stop using the App, subject to any payment or dispute obligations that survive termination.
12. Disclaimers
THE APP AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. TASK DOES NOT WARRANT THAT TASK OUTCOMES, PAYOUTS, OR THIRD-PARTY PLATFORM ACTIONS WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Task and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Task's total liability arising out of or relating to the App will not exceed the greater of (a) amounts you paid to Task for the Services in the twelve months before the claim or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100).
14. Apple & Google terms
If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store or Google Play, your use is also subject to the applicable store terms. Apple and Google are not responsible for the App, its content, maintenance, or support. Task, not the store provider, is responsible for addressing claims relating to the App.
15. Changes to this EULA
We may update this EULA from time to time. Material changes will be posted in the App or on our website with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised EULA.
